Highbury and Islington Cool Combo.

This gorgeous flat is the ground and basement floor of the Highbury Islington Combo. The owner is a  woman filmmaker and is currently creating food and farming documentaries. I love the pastels, the soft, pale pink matched with the the grey green accents in the master bedroom and the bathroom. The living room is bright and airy with white accents complimenting light grey walls. Being a creative, the owner has gathered a lot of interesting objects which is fun to take a closer look at and draws your attention.
A nice, lovely lifestyle, full of air and light.

Highbury and Islington Cool Combo..

This flat is the 1st and up.. floor of the Highbury Islington Cool Combo. Owned by a woman artist and an organiser of a very cool event. www.salonparticulier.org, which I have attented twice now and loved both the conversation and the delicious food being served. Not to mention the location which was an old church in Islington. In her flat, I love how she has stripped the walls and use the texture to create a very cool accent in the living room and the kitchen. A clever use of mirrors adds space and light and an eccentric selection her artwork and of interesting objects are a joy to discover. I need to get myself a Remington. I spend way to much time at the computer and would love to create letters to send to people written on an old Remington.

Golden Melody - A taste of the seaside in Islington

One of my photoshoots took me to this beautiful flat in Islington, by Upper street.
Walking in, I felt transported to a small, sunny beach resort filled with curiosities, natural wood, white walls and a whole lot of character.

St Mary's Gardens

Through my work with onefinestay I have had the privilege to shoot some amazing homes in London. St Mary's Gardens is a hundred and fifty years old English cottage sitting in a serene city square in Lambeth, just around the corner from the Imperial War Museum.
